Cheryl KamranPassionate to learn salsa and promote this amazing style of dancing within the SFU community, Cheryl started up the SFU Salsa club in Fall 2007. Having taken classes with several lessons with different instructors, she finds Gio's style of teaching to be fun and not intimidating at all. He really cares about his students and helps them to learn and improve their dancing throughout the duration of the lessons. ![]() Cheryl is currently finishing up her degree in a Business and Interactive Arts joint-major program. She has been involved in the several Business clubs at SFU, most siginificantly as the president of the Human Resources Students' Association in 2008-09. Since Cheryl is planning on going on exchange in the upcoming Spring 2011 semester and expecting to graduate in June that year, she is hoping to recruit a suitable individual to take over her role as the chair of the SFU Salsa club by the end of the Fall 2010 semester.
